CAST

A Couch by any other name would smell as sweet. Todd was the in the first ever graduating class from Voodoo Comedy seven years ago and performs standup, improv, and sketch with: Makeshift Shakespeare, Barkley, Grand Ole Space Opera, Etch-a-Sketch, and Big Time. His Shakespearean archetype is the fool, because Han Solo wasn’t an option.

Thompson Powers proudly hails from Pittsburgh, PA. He has dozens of legitimate theater credits, but can most often be found improvising illegitimate theater with Hit and Run Musical Improv, Makeshift Shakespeare, Show of Hands: Comedy Game Show, and many other funny groups around Denver. His favorite archetypes are the flawed ruler or romantic optimist who each take absurd things too seriously.

Keith Rains is a Denver Native. He’s been in the Denver improv scene for 20 years and trained at the Bovine Metropolis and Voodoo Comedy Theaters. His favorite archetype is the wise but addled old man because he is that character every day offstage. 

Wolfgang Stein comes from the lakes of Wisconsin. He has been performing improv for 10 years in Chicago where he cut his teeth at Annoyance Theater, Laugh Out Loud, Second City and iO. His favorite archetype is the fool because they tell the truth.
